Physical therapy at the Wilson Center is provided by Christine Scarano PT, DPT, and TRX Sports Medicine certified.

Professional Highlights:
Christine specializes in the out patient physical therapy setting; however, has extensive experience with a variety of diagnoses for children to geriatric patients. One of the most fulfilling aspects of her practice is the daily challenge in working with a variety of conditions… from patients who know the trauma of amputation or spinal cord injury to adolescents diagnosed with scoliosis or adults suffering from work related injury. Christine has worked with high school to NCAA Division I athletes, as well as top level triathletes. With over 9 years in the physical therapy field, she continues to actively further her practice with the most current continuing education. She is committed to the challenge of helping each patient to find the courage and strength within themselves to achieve success in their recovery.

Areas of Specialty:
Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner: One of the most cutting edge adjuncts to healthcare and sports professionals is the authentic Kinesio Taping Methods designed and engineered by Kenso Kase, DC. Its unique design allows for quicker tissue healing and muscle reeducation as compared to other modalities, taping, and bracing methods.

TRX Sports Medicine Certification: Incorporating a unique method of leveraged body weight exercises, the TRX equipment is a valuable tool to maximize an individual's functional strengthening from recovery to performance beyond one's expectations.
